WESTBORO, Mass., January 31,
2002 - ePresence, Inc. (Nasdaq: EPRE), a market
leader in delivering high-impact directory-powered business solutions, today
announced financial results for its services business in line with Company
guidance for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 2001.

Services Business 2002 Outlook
“In 2002 we plan to continue improving our operational efficiency,” said
Rich Spaulding, ePresence’s senior vice president and chief financial officer.
“As a part of the Company’s plan to improve
results, the Company recently decided to close its operations in the United
Kingdom and Germany. As a result of these closures,
we expect to reduce our current cost structure by approximately $0.8 million
quarterly beginning in the second quarter of 2002. As a result of this action,
we anticipate non-recurring charges of $2.0 to $3.0 million in the first quarter
of 2002.”
